Join a leader in intelligent audio solutions and help define the features in our devices that will transform lives through the power of sound.

Help build Architecture & Development in Software Engineering
In Software Engineering, we are more than 160 colleagues – and growing in size due to an increased demand for our high-quality audio solutions. In this department, you will join and help build a brand-new team of 6 colleagues who will help streamline the way we work across all department teams in the midst of the Jabra growth journey.

The aim is to set the bar even higher for our architecture in Embedded Software, ultimately contributing to transforming lives through the power of sound.

How can we work with embedded software in new and smart ways?
With a lot of teams across Software Engineering, we want to break down silos and make our embedded software across teams even more ready for the future. As this is a brand-new role, you will help shape it from the very beginning as you help us look into new ways of working with embedded software. Ultimately, you will help us answer the question of how we can have a future-proof platform across products.

This will allow you to look into the requirements for future hardware, technologies like IoT and cloud – but also give you the opportunity to explore into other new and potential technologies.

“We need you to look across teams and see new possibilities for the future – and to have and test the potential of new ideas. You’ll help us find some answers,” says Morten Nielsen, Senior Software Development Manager.

Embedded software experience and a curiosity for new technologies

  • Preferably, you have a master’s degree within IT or a similar technical background
  • You have several years of experience with embedded software, preferably as an architect
  • You have experience with IoT and devices that run on cloud technology
  • You have experience with DSP and DSP chips as you will be collaborating with our audio engineers
  • You are fluent in English

We are looking for a colleague who is curious about the new technologies out there – and how they can help create the devices of the future. You are ready to find new ways of working with embedded software, and you are able to reach out to colleagues and collaborate closely with other architects in this process.
