Position Summary
Would you like to craft C++ software running on Raspberry PI? And do you also enjoy working in cross-disciplinary teams? Then this might be a job for you.
At Zoetis Denmark we develop instruments for measuring properties found in veterinary blood samples. The results are used to diagnose diseases and prescribe optimal treatment for animals.
The instruments are designed by cross-functional teams, where the members each are experts within their field. The environment is informal and each individual has a large say in how the system is designed and the tools applied. Decisions are taken by the team.
Primary Tasks
The software runs at a headless Raspberry Pi Linux connected to a tablet, and your primary task is to:
- Develop embedded software in C++ running on a Raspberry Pi Linux platform
- Develop software for production and QC tools hosted on Windows
- Create and anchor of design documents
- Parts of the middleware run on NodeJS so this is also a possibility if you have an interest in this field
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science/Engineering
- Proficient in C++
- Experience with programming device drivers
- Experience with implementing algorithms in C++
- Experience with Linux
- Excellent English (both written and oral)
Other relevant qualifications
- Experience with Build systems (CMAKE or similar)
- Experience with test automation
- Experience with GitHub
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Knowledge of NodeJS

You know your C++ and have a few years of professional experience with developing software. You thrive in a fast-paced changing environments with changing tasks and a large degree of self-governing. You are motivated by collaborating in multi-ethnic cross-functional teams, and you have good interpersonal skills.
