The position
You will be a part of a team who develops software for our welding machines - both newly developments and maintenance software for existing products. We are furthermore responsible to secure the quality of our software. Our R&D department works with the agile framework, Scrum. Your main responsibilities are:

  • Software design and programming in relation to development of new products.
  • Implement software updates for present products based on defect analysis and corrections.
  • Preparation of documentation in development projects.
  • Provide support to our Service department and Production.
  • Take part in continuous process and tool chain improvements to secure 1st class software quality.  

Professional Qualification
You have a MSc or BSc in Engineering or a similar degree, and have a passion for embedded software development. Furthermore, you have sound knowledge and/or experience with following competencies:

  • Embedded software engineering in C and knowledge of C++ or C#.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming.
  • Programming of microcontrollers and RTOS systems.
  • Debugging of SW and understanding of HW.
  • We are an international company, so in order to hold this position, you must be able to understand, speak and write English.
