About the role
As an embedded software developer, you will take part in the whole software development process from specifying and implementing to testing. You will be programming the turbine control software in C++ for a Linux like operation system and participate in the development projects across the whole company.
You will be a part of getting new projects in operation as well as developing new technologies and methods.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor or a Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Scientist or similar. You have C++ skills, at least 3 years of experience as well as experience with embedded software development and with Linux or like operating systems.
You have knowledge of OO-design patterns and experience with software testing and familiar with concepts like unit tests, test automation and continuous integration.
It will be an advantage if you are familiar with concepts like Agile, SCRUM, Kanban and tools like Jira and have knowledge of versioning systems like GIT or Mercurial.
