At Oticon, we venture beyond what is technically possible. Join us to develop a full suite of software for Bluetooth consumer products using C/C++. Help us securing a robust and flexible software architecture design with a high degree of reusability. Nerds are more than welcome!

Get ready for some exciting tasks!
In your new position, you will be part of the Embedded Software Realization Group, which is in our Research & Development department. Your main task will be to drive the development of embedded operating systems and application level software for the next generation of connectivity products using C++14 on Cortex-M microcontrollers.

We develop Software for utilizing automated high-volume production of products. We furthermore write unit- and integration tests for verification and performance testing of our products. We build and optimize continuous integration and release flows. Key is to live up to medical device software standards, including PC software for updating and maintaining the products.

We work in an agile setup with multiple Scrum teams. All teams have a close cooperation with Product Management and Usability Experts. You will be the guru to give technical advice to the management and provide feasibility analysis on requirements. And finally, we also have a strong focus on contributing to concept studies for future technologies.

What you are coming with
We expect you to either hold a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and have a couple of years of experience within embedded software development, or you are freshly graduated and excited to start up.

We do expect you to have experience in:

  • Embedded software on microcontrollers using C/C++ (preferably C++11 and later)
  • Scripting and development tools using C# and/or Python
  • OOA/OOD preferably using UML

Furthermore, you most likely have a good knowledge of the following programming languages, methods and principles:

  • Knowledge of ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers, low level software and operating systems
  • Experience with TeamCity, Jenkins or other CI systems
  • Knowledge of open source operating systems such as Zephyr and Mbed
  • Experience with development of software for medical devices
  • Basic understanding of hardware and electronics
  • Knowledge of audio/signal processing
  • Knowledge of Bluetooth/BLE and USB
