Embedded and Low-level programmer for Medical Device Development

At RSP Systems A/S, we are developing a non-invasive glucose meter based on Raman spectroscopy. We are striving to bring painless glucose monitoring to diabetic patients all over the world. To strengthen our development efforts, we are looking for a new colleague, who will develop and implement Linux drivers for the hardware in our medical device.

Job Profile
Our new embedded and low-level programmer is expected to bring innovative thinking, great communication, and problem-solving skills while acting as a strong link in the integration between the hardware and software for our medical device.

You will become the first member of our core infrastructure team responsible for porting and improving our embedded test software environments, in collaboration with our partners in Finland.

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will be a self-starter, yet a strong team player, with an innovative spirit and a drive to make a difference. 

We expect that you have a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronic or Software Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of work experience.

The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria: 

  • Minimum 3 years of solid expertise in Linux OS and kernel drivers for embedded systems
  • Strong experience with low-level I/O and inter-processor communication  

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Knowledge of Qt5/C++
  • Experience with Yocto Linux 
  • Debugging of hardware 
  • Experience with NXP/i.mx6 processors
