Electronics Technician

For our Headquarter in Hillerød, we are looking for a self propelled electronics technician with good all round abilities. Instrument Development is a central part of the R&D Department and we are responsible for driving projects from concept to launch. This is a challenging and fun task often consisting of inventing new solutions with talented colleagues across the company striving to make a difference and deliver successful cutting-edge instruments to our customers.

The job
In the daily work you will join a multidisciplinary project team in R&D developing new FOSS instruments. You will further be part of the Electronics Development Group in Hillerød currently consisting of 12 people.

Your main tasks will be:

• Assist in developing electronics for FOSS instruments
• Build prototypes and function models
• Assist in PCB bring-up
• Make PCB validation measurements
• Develop simpler electronics PCBs
• Develop instrument cabling
• Reliability, robustness and approval measurements
• Idea generation for instrument improvements

The candidate
The preferred candidate has an education as an electronics technician and has some years working experience in a similar position.

You must share our passion for technology development. You are able to shuffle between a couple of projects, and are committed to delivering quality in your work. In order to succeed, you work systematically and hold strong analytical skills. Furthermore, you hold excellent communication skills, which enable you to make agreements within and outside FOSS. People consider you a good team player with a positive mindset even when you are challenged and deadlines are tight.
