Electronics designer for the development of specialised power supplies
Danfysik A/S in Taastrup is seeking an electronics designer who is passionate about designing power supplies in collaboration with the world’s leading research institutes. You will get a job where your experience and knowledge help create value and results for our customers.

Development and design of specialised high-power supplies for magnets
You will be part of the electronics design group, working with the design and development of both series-produced power supplies and highly-specialised solutions for our customers. Among other, we work with high precision, high stability power supplies - down to 0,1 ppm, and 3 phase, High Power, up to ≈1MW and technologies as Gallium nitride (GaN) and Sillicon carbide (SiC).

It is a varied job where you, and your team, help to push the technology to its limits in building power supplies that have not yet been built and in helping our customers achieve valuable research results.

Your primary areas of responsibilities are:

• Development and project management of custom-built power supplies according to customer specifications
• Development and project management of new features and modules within Danfysik as well as in collaboration with universities and other external parties
• Customization and production maturation of serial as well as customised products
• Development and qualification of series-produced power supplies
• Preparation of documentation for the product
• EMC and approval from the regulatory authorities

You will be part of a team that develops entirely new solutions and develops and optimises existing solutions through a module-based approach. You will work as a lead engineer and run and execute your projects from start to finish yourself, brainstorm with your colleagues.

An experienced engineer who can develop modular solutions
You have a degree in engineering within electronics, preferably specialising in power electronics. In addition, you have solid, practical design experience in the development of electronics for complete power supply preferably from a previous position as a design engineer. You operate as system/lead engineer with focus on modules and interfaces and can break down projects and activities into more manageable tasks, so you get results quickly and efficiently.

You quickly understand the needs and challenges of our customers and can transform them into concrete solutions. You have a broad technical knowledge that you bring into play when putting together products and solutions, both when developing existing products and when preparing new products.
