Electrical/Automation Engineer

Our Four-stroke Small Bore Testing & Control Department in Holeby is hiring/looking for a new colleague with interest in and knowledge about engine electronic, canbus and documentation.

You will be involved in all processes (planning, testing, verification and administration) in conjunction with the whole portfolio of four-stroke medium speed diesel / dual fuel engines; both generating sets (GenSets) and propulsion engines.
A day in the position will typically consist of a mix between development considerations, support, data study and other design related tasks, hereunder electrical documentation, parameters and electrical control system for the engine. The job includes travel activities, as the testing and troubleshooting will be carried out at our licensees and customers.

You’ll will play an important role in:

• Electrical documentation, engine integration, and control systems parametrization
• Validate electrical systems
• Participate in tests and development projects
• Contribute to decarbonization efforts for our small bore four-stroke portfolio

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate for this role, ideally an Electrical Engineer, Automation Engineer, Electrician, or a professional with a similar background. The ideal candidate will possess a range of valuable skills, including expertise in PLC and automatics parametrization, proficiency in creating electrical drawings and documentation, and a thorough understanding of electrical systems. Knowledge of diesel/gas combustion engines would be a distinct advantage, as would familiarity with PLC and Canbus systems. Effective communication in English, both in writing and speech, is essential, and proficiency in Danish would be a valuable asset. You will be part of a team with 8 dedicated engineers in Testing & Control. The department  is handling all automation and control systems in our portfolio, likewise parameters and adjustments. We are dealing with testing of new engine types and performance layout.
