The Ørsted Global Graduate Programme is designed to unleash your potential and give you the unique opportunity of a fast-tracked career in Ørsted. The Graduate journey
Our Graduate Programme consists of two-three rotations, where you’ll solve business challenges, take responsibility for your own assignments, and engage in our day-to-day business decisions.

Throughout the three rotations, you’ll work on the power system for our offshore wind farms, connecting the wind turbines to the transmission grid. In the first rotation, you’ll work on design and grid integration of the system. The following rotations will be based on your interest and career aspirations.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • analysing power systems for an offshore wind farm, e.g., load flow, voltage control, dynamic analysis, short circuit calculations, fault ride through, stability, and harmonic studies
  • learning about state-of-the-art topics like Power-to-X, battery storage, and offshore wind.

To succeed in this role, you:

  • hold a bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering from before 1 September 2023 with excellent results
  • have experience with power systems studies in simulation tools like PowerFactory, PSS/E, or PSCAD
  • have a basic understanding of control theory and converter systems
  • have strong analytical skills, a high level of personal drive, and a high learning ability
  • have a collaborative mindset and an ambition to always find innovative solutions.
