Electrical Development Engineer for HVAC Control & IoT

Optimize future high-efficiency fan and ventilation control systems
Reporting to the Technical Director of Novenco Building & Industry, your key task will be to develop control systems for the HVAC system, application and fans. You will define the strategy for technology projects that include a PLC control system and/or IoT system in product development as well as optimizations of the existing product portfolio. Furthermore, you will design and implement electrical guidelines on large projects for market leading international customers - such as big datacenters and wind turbine manufacturers - and ensure translation from user stories to demand specification, design and programming of the control units. Acting as ambassador for Novenco, you will have a close collaboration with customers and external stakeholders to guarantee that control systems in projects are aligned with business needs and requirements.

Strong electrical development engineer with project management experience
We expect you to have an educational background in Electrical Engineering or similar. You have demonstrated experience with frequency drive, motor technology, PLC equipment and control panels. To be successful in this role, you need to have practical hands-on experience in commissioning with test and installation processes as well as experience providing technical support in an international context.

As a person, you are a structured planner who can maintain a good overview of the situation while diving into details and be analytical when it is required. You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have demonstrated ability in building strong relationships at all levels. You thrive in a cross-functional role and enjoy sharing knowledge and providing support to others inside and outside of the organization.
