Drone Software & Electronic Engineer
In Aerial Tools, we are developing a Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) Unmanned Aerial System (UAS). Our aim is to improve data acquisition of large and remote infrastructure areas such as solar parks, off-shore wind turbines or agricultural sites.
We are looking for a person able to help with Aurdupilot in Mission Planner, circuit development and testing. The right candidate is self-driven, and it has experience with drones, circuit automation, and sensor integration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or master degree in automation control, electrical, electronic, software, space engineering or similar.
- Good programming skills in Python. Used to work in Linux OS.
- Experience with Mission Planner or similar.
- Lab skills for basic component assembly.
- Knowledge in vision recognition and machine learning algorithms is a plus.
- Knowledge in cloud system architecture is a plus.
- Knowledge in ROS is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Calibrating ESC and rotors.
- Ardupilot PID tuning in Mission Planner.
- Servo and GPS testing.
- PCB development between payload and integrated systems.
- Sensor integration. Cameras and LiDAR.
- Companion computer synchronization with payload and integrated system.
- Developing automated solutions using Dronekit.
