We are currently looking for a new colleague, able to perform a mixed role as Documentation Distribution Specialist and Technical Writer, who would like to work in our Maintenance Documentation department in the SGRE Service Business unit. Would you like to be part of a global team and enabling us to take the maintenance documentation to the next level? Would you like to manage the distribution of the documentation needed on field to Operate and Maintain the wind farms? Then this role might be the right one for you.

How to contribute to our vision
As a Documentation Distribution Specialist you manage the operational activity of the database of the Maintenance Documentation Distribution System. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Improve the current database features according to the user’s requests/needs
  • Improve and clean-up the documentation metadata
  • Support the users to find the needed information
  • Integrate new content in the database
  • Create and maintain the guidelines and procedures that guarantee the quality and proper use of the database
  • Support the implementation of the new SGRE Maintenance Documentation Distribution Platform

As a Technical Writer you perform an editorial review of the Service Bulletins, created to communicate the design modifications to be deployed on field, and you create the Customer Service Bulletins according to authoring guides. The Customer Service Bulletins are the documents used to communicate with customers regarding the modifications that can be deployed in their wind turbines.

What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. In order to succeed in this position, you will need experience in technical writing and managing technical documentation (we imagine 3-5 years). You are good at communicating and have excellent English skills both orally and in writing. Simplified Technical English knowledge would be highly valued.

You are proficient in IT applications and PLM systems in general, especially in Office 365 and in Teamcenter (desirable in Windchill).

You are IT minded and focus on working smarter, not harder, automating the processes and tools as much as possible. It would be an advantage to:

  • Be proactive in your work and approach to assignments.
  • Work independently as well as contributing to teamwork.
  • Be hard working and have a proven track record of keeping your deadlines.
  • Be outgoing and able to network with colleagues across an international company.
  • Be eager to learn about new processes, tools and systems.
