You shape our team, our procedures - and your own role
As our new Director of Test, you lead and direct the Software Test and Test Automation teams for our Capture One software, that supports both Mac and Windows customers. You’ll also take a seat on our four-man R&D management team setting direction for our rapidly expanding Capture One software development team. Our ambitious goal is to increase and consolidate our already impressive growth rates on the business to consumer market for imaging software. To this end, you’ll take strategic ownership and apply your professional vision as you plan our QA strategy. In addition, your job description includes:

• Implementing automated testing as part of the development process
• Implementing an automation framework to enable functional tests
• Collaborating with developers and process partners to identify bugs, issues and defects

As you’ll be part of shaping the team going forward, you will to a large extent also shape your own role as we look to capitalise on this huge software opportunity.

We’re based in Copenhagen - and can’t wait to meet you
You’ll be working at our office in central Copenhagen where you’ll have 40 ambitious, talented and experienced colleagues on the Software Team and many more throughout the organisation. Bringing together professionals from all over the world, we work in an international atmosphere of trust and empowerment and believe in getting things done without getting on each other’s backs. 

You bring solid experience and an agile mindset
You have a Master’s-level degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field. More importantly you have at least ten years of experience in software development and QA, with your most recent experience coming from leading and managing dedicated software development, - test or -automation teams. You are used to defining and implementing tools strategies, test automation frameworks and reusable components across multiple platforms and technologies.

Part of our strategy calls for a transition to agile development, and you contribute to this process by drawing on your experience working in agile environments and with continuous delivery setups. To smooth the transition, you are also able to draw on your excellent human touch and superior communication skills - the latter also in English.
