You define our release management practices
As our new Director of Release Management, you’ll join a four-man management team staffing up and setting direction for our Capture One software team. Reporting directly to CTO, Hans J. Skovgaard, you’ll take ownership of our development process, driving our transition towards a best in class agile setup. Taking on big-name players like Adobe and Corel, we’re aiming to capture a steadily increasing share of the global imaging software market with Capture One, and we are already enjoying massive growth rates.
To consolidate and increase our position, we have green-lighted an ambitious effort to create the perfect software development company. Your ideas and insights as Director of Release Management will help shape it and help ensure our success as we set out to capitalise on this huge software opportunity.
We’re based in Copenhagen - and can’t wait to meet you
You’ll be working at our office in central Copenhagen where you’ll have 40 ambitious, talented and experienced colleagues on the Software Team and many more throughout the organisation. Bringing together professionals from all over the world, we work in an international atmosphere of trust and empowerment and believe in getting things done without getting on each other’s backs.
You combine solid industry experience with an entrepreneurial mindset
Adding to a BA in Computer Science or a related field, you can demonstrate at least ten years of professional experience in software development, of which three years have been spent working with release and technology project management. Here, you’ve both gained solid knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, as well as experience performing Release Management for shipping industrial grade software products. Most importantly, you have been in the driver’s seat for transitioning from waterfall to agile methods and have strong ideas for successfully implementing them in our setup for maximum scalability and throughput.
As a leader, you inspire confidence as a subject matter expert, sharing from your knowledge and experience, and empowering those around you to make the most of their talent. You balance experience with enthusiasm, eagerly experimenting with new approaches without losing sight of the long-term perspective. You communicate brilliantly and persuasively in English, making your team enjoy following your lead.
