About the role and key responsibilities
As a Digital Production Specialist, you will be part of FORCE Technology Digital, the business unit committed to research, development and commercial consultancy in the digital innovation domain. The business unit has been founded in 2020 and consists of 25 dedicated specialists and experienced consultants, with different background, working with sensor technology and wireless communication, production and operations management, service design and circular economy. The mission is “to create a more sustainable and safer future for people, companies and our society”.

Some of your key tasks will be:

  • Consultancy projects - identification and quantification of production improvement opportunities enabled by technology innovation.
  • Research projects in collaboration with universities and industrial partners. To development of new approaches for supporting production companies improving their business through technology innovation.
  • Knowledge dissemination activities, e.g. presentations at events

Your primary work location is at our location in Hørsholm, in the DTU Science Park, 20 km North of Copenhagen, and refer to Head of design and innovation. We offer a flexible work environment, with the possibility to work from home a few days a week.

In this position there will be expected travelling 1-2 days a week, to visit customers and participate in events.

Your profile
We expect that you have a solid academic background in production, e.g. a MSc or PhD within fields such as operations and innovation management, production and industrial engineering, and similar. And at least 3-5 years of experience, dealing with production improvement, e.g. innovation, digitalization, automation, continuous improvement, etc.

To work well in your role, you will need:

  • interest in dealing with production improvement through digitalization and automation of manufacturing and business processes
  • project management skills
  • an enthusiastic approach to work, with a focused personality and the ability to move work tasks forward
  • great communication skills to deal with colleagues and customers - before, during and after the projects.
