Digital Innovation Internship

The Position
The successful candidate will be taking part in the identification of relevant technologies and their applicability to the organisation, and together with your colleagues be responsible for the development and implementation of scalable and effective solutions. Our current scope spans: mobile applications (both native iOS and in Microsoft Power Apps), augmented reality instructions using the HoloLens 2 and Microsoft Guides, as well as ongoing work on a VR training platform.
We offer hands-on opportunities to work on one or more projects solving real-life problems, from the initial stages all the way to delivery of a working prototype, going through problem identification, design, development iterations, and testing.

On a day-to-day basis you would be tasked with identifying the cause of a problem, coming up with a suitable digital solution, and then implementing the solution together with the team. We employ a broad range of technologies and software, so you will have the opportunity to shine no matter what your specialisation is, while also having the chance to try out and learn new things.
You would at times be working independently (giving presentations, visiting stakeholders, etc.) – being comfortable talking in public and dealing with new people all the time is important.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is currently studying a Master’s degree within IT, Human Computer Interaction, Learning & Development, Engineering, or other relevant areas.
- Strong grasp of UXD, Interaction Design and/or Design Thinking
- Solid problem-solving skills, together with a user-centred approach to solutions
- An interest in digital training and optimisation solutions (via digital tools, mobile apps, e-learning, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality, etc.)
- Communication and presentation skills (verbally and in writing)
- Programming knowledge is a plus, but not required
- 3D modelling and UI design knowledge are also a plus, but not required
- Fluency in spoken and written English is expected (our working language is English, and thus knowledge of Danish is NOT required, but can be helpful in some cases)
About the department
You will be a part of CMC (Chemistry Manufacturing & Control) which is the organisation that ties research and manufacturing together. The position is anchored in the department CMC Business & Digital Solutions, whose key mission it is to execute strategic initiatives across CMC Development in the areas of Digital Training, Data Engineering, Demand & Supply, Business Intelligence, IT Security, and IT Strategy in partnership with line of business.
Our end-user groups consist of Operators, Supporters, Laboratory Technicians, Professionals and their Managers, and all solutions aim at providing optimal support, for their competence development and performance.
You would be joining a diverse and international team consisting of 21 colleagues with different backgrounds and expertise areas. Our daily operational language is English.
Internship period: The internship position is a full-time position for 6 months, starting from February 2022. Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows. A Full Time Danish work permit is required
