Are you interested in very advanced low power design? Would you like to be part of chipset development for medical use that makes a real difference to end users?

Then this is a great opportunity to work with some very skillful people and grow your talent as you get across different aspects of IC design, even outside where your expertise lies.

We know sound
At GN ReSound, we are known for great sound quality, design and technology excellence as well as meaningful solutions that help people with hearing challenges rediscover hearing.

ReSound, which is part of GN Hearing, was the first company launching a made-for-iPhone® hearing aid, and we are working on new and award-winning solutions. And at our HQ in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join our IC team that develops chipsets and creates leading edge ASIC design all the way from RTL to GDSII.

Create intelligent audio solutions
As a digital ASIC engineer, you collaborate across the IC team to develop and specify digital modules for our hearing aids. You help us develop best-in-class DSP processors, AD converters and power distribution ICs for our innovative hearing solutions - and you take part in all the practical work, doing time in our lab, challenging our current solutions and influencing new generation hearing aids.

Your primary tasks include:

  • Specification
  • Implementation using VHDL
  • Synthesis
  • Digital simulation at RTL and gate level
  • FPGA emulation
  • Post-silicon lab testing
  • Wafer test specification
  • Documentation

Help us make life sound better
In the IC team, you will join 25 specialist development engineers that every day combine talents to make life sound better through innovative low power chipsets. You will take part in a growing, international and dynamic work environment built on trust and openness, where there is ample opportunity to develop.

Creative and familiar with electronics engineering
In a team of only 25 people, we all take part in exploring what is possible now and in the future. Thus, we need you to thrive in a team environment as an active participant, bringing new ideas and a fresh perspective. Moreover, you hold a master’s degree in electronics engineering and 2-5 years industrial experience, as well as experience with:

  • ASIC and/or FPGA development
  • Verilog and/or VHDL
  • Digital Verification
  • HDL simulators and waveform viewers
  • Perl, Shell scripting, Makefiles, TCL
  • Synthesis

Last, but not least, we hope you are practical by nature and looking forward to conducting test activities when we receive prototype ASICs.
