Digital ASIC Design Engineer for wireless multicore MCUs

Here, you get to improve the lives of consumers directly by enabling the use of remote control of an ever-growing variety of connected devices—from home security to energy management, media, lighting, and remote home monitoring, just to name a few.

This is your opportunity to:

  • Design multi-processor SoC infrastructure and high performance signal processing subsystems for next generation of IoT IC’s
  • Design the components of application specific instruction processors
  • Work with a range of abstraction layers from ESL (SystemC) through RTL (Verilog/VHDL) to gate-level as applied in the design-flow of SoC with SW defined peripherals, including RF
  • Work with all aspects of chip design from synthesis to tape-out

Implement extremely power efficient SW-adaptable IoT hardware platforms
Sigma Designs is further expanding our Copenhagen office and looking for a knowledgeable and analytical professional for our ASIC team. In this position, we have enabled you and your colleagues to focus on envisioning and designing the mission critical properties of a multi-core system with ASIPs, FSM accelerators and mixed-signal sub-systems.

Experience with RTL HDL design
Your most important skill is your understanding of the RTL design flow from conceptual design via HDL capture to synthesis, simulation, power characterization, and verification.

Computer architecture
We expect you to have general knowledge of multiprocessor architectures and their components.

Verification, DFT, DFM, UPF
You will get a chance to apply you skills in designing testable, high yielding systems featuring multiple supply domains in a setup that targets ultra-low power single-chip solutions.On a personal level, you are proactive, curious and have the drive to create results. You are a strong team player, enjoying the cross-functional collaboration within and outside Sigma Designs Technology Denmark.
