EPOS, a company delivering high-end audio solutions for Gaming and Enterprise, is looking for a DevOps Engineer, to join our DevOps team in realizing our ambitious growth plan.

To support our growth, we are looking for a competent and experience DevOps Engineer to join our international R&D organization based at our Headquarter in Ballerup.
 
Your opportunity as our new DevOps Engineer
As a DevOps Engineer at EPOS, you will play a key role in product and solution development. Our solutions are a mix of wired/wireless devices with firmware, PC application, and Cloud. In our multi-cultural organization, you will be responsible for the essential development of SW development tools. You will coordinate and lead the work in the different development projects from a SW release management and tools perspective. You will work closely with software development teams to ensure that the software build, and release process is flawless and that we have the right supporting tools in place for source code, source quality, security, documentation, defect, and compliance.

The position is in Ballerup Denmark, where the core of the development teams is located, yet your responsibilities span organization-wide including, amongst others, our partners in India.

As a DevOps Engineer your key responsibilities will be to

  • Develop and support CI/CD flows optimizing SW creation and delivery operations 
  • Maintain and admin cloud and on-prem DevOps environments
  • Support teams, infrastructure, operating systems, SW tools, monitoring, and security solutions  
  • Plan and drive infrastructure and application roll-out operations
  • Develop training material and conduct end-user training sessions
  • Promote DevOps culture through constant improvements of existing and new processes

For this exciting job opportunity, the ideal skills you bring should include

  • Advance experience in Azure DevOps and Azure services (AWS and GCP will be considered)
  • Proficient with “Infrastructure as Code” using Ansible and Terraform 
  • Proficient using Git (merge strategies, rebase, reflog)
  • Experience using container technologies (Azure Container Apps, Docker, or alike)
  • Experience using scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell, Golang, and similar)
  • Fundamental understanding of cloud networking (VPC, DNS, VPNs, SSL)
  • Experience Linux System Administration

Education

  • Master/Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
  • 3-5 years of work experience within software development, DevOps, and Test Automation

Nice to have

  • Experience with Jenkins CI/CD solutions
  • Experience with SW vulnerability scanning solutions
  • Experience with Atlassian tool package: Bitbucket, Jira & Confluence 
  • Experience building, deploying, and supporting Microservices 
  • Application knowledge for code quality tools such as SonarQube, SonarCloud
  • Cloud certifications (MAZ900, MAZ104, MAZ500, or alike)

Your personal skills

  • Strong debugging, diagnostic, and root cause analysis solving problems and issues
  • Result oriented with the ability to navigate in a fast-paced organization with many stakeholders
  • Proven ability to plan and drive changes in a multicultural environment with a can-do attitude
  • Experience working in an Agile scrum/Kanban environment
  • Passion to introduce new technologies and tools
  • Fluent English communication skills both in written and oral
