The team for you to join
You will be a part of our 14 people Product Design & Application department which is responsible for formulation development, raw material implementation, clinical productions, consumer sample productions, product upscaling, and implementation as well as technical production trouble shooting of our probiotic containing solid dosage forms. 

Product Design & Application is a part of Human Health Product Design, Chr. Hansen A/S and is located in Hørsholm. In Human Health Product Design, we create solutions for our customers based on science, and we do it in close collaboration with our Application laboratory in US. We work closely together with our R&D involving new freeze-dried probiotic strains to make them suitable for products primarily within powder based solid dosage forms but also liquid based dosage forms. 

What would your role look like?
Your main tasks will be:

• Evaluate new freeze-dried probiotic strains to be used in our applications
• Formulate new products and improve existing formulations of solid dosage forms and liquid based dosage forms
• Plan, perform and evaluate formulation development activities to cover the requirements of our customers as well as our internal stakeholders 
• Ensure that raw materials, specifications, and documentation relating to the product and the production covers the requirements of the specific product and the specific use for our customer 
• Participate in cross-functional teams for preparing our products to new production facilities in DK 

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you with:

• A master’s degree in pharmacy, food science or other equivalent relevant degree
• Experience from relevant bachelor- and master-thesis or earlier jobs is preferred
• A strong personal drive associated with a great sense of humor and the competence to be self-motivating, energetic, and passionate about teamwork 
• A customer-oriented mindset and with good communication skills, enjoying working in an international and ambitious environment
