Demand Planner and Analysist
We are looking for someone to join our Supply chain Optimization & Solutions team, who can drive our demand planning process within the marine section.
The primary role is to ensure the execution of the commercial side of MAN DK S&OP process in close collaboration with sales, finance, purchasers and our S&OP manager. This is done with a strong cross-functional collaboration mindset towards a wide range of stakeholders within MAN DK.
What are you going to do?
We expect you to collect past/future demand inputs (such as new customers, price changes, new/discontinued products). Consolidating their impacts in the overall demand plan. Communicate recommended demand adjustments with clearly defined reasons and logic.
We need you to create multiple demand scenarios that impact the business needs/expectations. Ensure alignment between demand plan and financial budgets. Communicate supply constraints in an effective way, increasing sales awareness of the potential constraints that might have an effect on the supply situation.
You must collaborate closely with our Sales and Operation Managers, ensuring that demand plan changes are leading to evaluation of supply capabilities towards our factories and suppliers globally. Contribute to the development of the presentation and slide deck for the S&OP meetings..
As a demand planner at MAN DK, you will be working with the following:
- Full ownership of the demand planning process.
- Analysis of historical sales with identification of outlying demand demand patterns
- Operationalize demand inputs and changes from sales into SAP and SAP IBP
- Be the one point of contact in terms of demand changes from stakeholders.
- Ensure safety stocks and phase in/out of products.
Who are you?
We imagine that you:
You are a recent graduate or have 1-4 years of experience within Supply Chain and hold a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management, Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering or equivalent. Furthermore, it is an advantage if you:
- Have insights in performance management tools and operational KPI’s
- Are a skilled user of ERP systems, SAP R/3 (ECC) and SAP IBP
- Are skilled in use of MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Strong communication skills
- Strong collaboration skills
- Have an “go do” attitude
- Strong Data analysis skills
- A good team player
