Data Science Intern

In this role, you will be working with skilled team members to build predictive models for clients, data platforms, datasets, and dashboards in different sectors like financial services, higher education and life sciences. You will collaborate with team members with different backgrounds – engineering, econometrics, social sciences, scientometrics and more. We work to give our customers a head start by giving life to their data. Through razor- sharp analyses, we ensure a solid evidence base for our customers. Our customers are both companies and public institutions such as Novo Nordisk, Skanska, Copenhagen Airport, the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Aarhus University. You will be part of a dynamic, creative and ambitious everyday life, where there is not far from idea to product. We have an informal tone and a good social community.
The internship position is a full-time position from September 2021 to December 2021 and we offer a compensation of 5.000 kr. per month.

You will work with

• Data collection (database calls, APIs, web scraping, etc.) and data preparation

• Modeling (machine learning, regression, clustering, etc.)

• Data visualization (e.g. dashboards or traditional visualizations)

• Development of packages in R and Python

• Version management (git)

• Quotation writing and idea development for quotes

• Participation in customer meetings

You are

• Pursuing a masters level education with computer science or mathematical modelling or similar with excellent results

• Passionate about applying your skills to real world issues.

• Analytically sharp and observant

• Ingenious and passionate

• Structured, thorough and systematic

• Masters either R or Python

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Is comfortable in a dynamic environment

• Writes and speaks Danish and English
