Customer & Sales Support Manager for FOSS Nordic

We are now looking for a manager with good technical skills to head our local Customer & Sales Support team.

You will be leading the local team of 9 employees striving to provide world class service to our customers on a daily basis. As a Customer & Sales Support Manager (CSM) you will report to the Vice President of Customer and Sales Support in Europe. Your daily work base will be in the headquarter in Hillerød, where you will be part of the local Danish Management team together with the General Manager. In close cooperation with the General Manager you will manage the day-to-day business and lead the team towards continuous growth and high customer satisfaction.
As CSM you are responsible of the overall management for a team of 9, including a Service Coordinator, 7 field Engineers and an Application Specialist working from home in Denmark and Sweden. You will lead and motivate the team as well as prioritise tasks in cooperation with the employees.
Furthermore, some of your main tasks are:
- Collaborate with the local sales team and admin team on daily business
- Visit customers in cooperation with Service Engineers or Sales
- Develop and sustain high customer satisfaction and employee engagement
- Continuously improve performance and drive organisational development - using KPI’s as an analytical tool to develop satisfaction and efficiency
- Drive implementation of the C&SS global strategy in the Nordic local market
- Do service jobs 20-30% of the time
- Act as a sparring partner for technicians on challenges
The preferred candidate has profound technical understanding and strong software skills. You have electrical engineering or technician qualification and experience as well as Service Management experience - or ambitions. You have excellent leadership skills, which include a genuine interest in people and an ability both to be firm and listen to other people.
You are driven by a strong customer orientation and the ability to see the bigger picture in every decision. You are results driven with a highly structured approach. You communicate clearly with customers and employees in a technical environment in a positive, respectful way, listen and ask questions. Under pressure, you are able to stay solution oriented and proactive in dealing with conflicts and challenges.
Additionally, you have good English skills both written and spoken.
