Working from our Headquarters in Ballerup, you will join the Corporate QA Systems team within Corporate QA/RA with colleagues in Denmark, USA and Asia, and you will report to the Director of Corporate QA Systems.

A global job with an impact
As Corporate Quality System Manager, your overall objective is to manage Ambu’s Global Quality Management System (QMS) and be responsible for internal and external audits. You will drive and manage both areas in a proactive way in close cooperation with colleagues and partners. 

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Ensure a compliant, simple and effective quality management system with best practice procedures
  • Plan, manage and participate in internal audit
  • Contact external auditors and plan and execute external audits
  • Initiate QA process improvements within the global organisation
  • Establish and maintain a know-how centre for quality issues, and ensure proper implementation through education and assistance to the organisation
  • Act as project manager for projects within QA/RA and as QA owner in selected Business IT projects

You can expect 10-20 travel days per year.

Experience with QMS, FDA and medical devices
To succeed in the job, you need to have minimum five years of experience with QMS, FDA and medical devices or pharmaceuticals and you need to have solid internal and external auditing experience. In addition, it is required that you hold a relevant education on a master level within engineering or a similar field.

It is important that you have good cooperation skills and that you work proactively. You have an analytical and structured approach to your work, and at the same time, you are open-minded and see possibilities. You have the ability to maintain overview in a sometimes complex situation. Your decisions are business-driven.
