As part of the Corporate Quality Assurance Engineering team, you will support new product development teams in developing and introducing medical devices within our visualization product range.
Working from our Headquarters in Ballerup, you will join a team with colleagues in Denmark, USA and Asia, and you will refer to the Director of Corporate Quality Assurance Engineering.
A global job with an impact
In the job as Corporate Quality Assurance Engineer, you will have the chance to impact product development and your own daily tasks and responsibilities. You will experience a very varied working day in a dynamic organisation. You will work closely with your colleagues, particularly colleagues in Denmark and Asia, but also in the US.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- support to the new product development teams with professional and proactive QAE
- handle risk management as part of support to innovation projects
- perform supplier audit as part of selection new suppliers/partners to new innovation projects
- report, communicate and train colleagues in strategic quality tools.
You can expect some travel activity (10-20 days per year) in connection with global QAE meetings, development projects, conferences, etc.
Experience with Medical Device and teamwork
To succeed in the job, you need to have a background as engineer with experience from both mechanical, electrical and software engineering and have experience with risk management for Medical Devices.
In addition, you need to have knowledge of software and electrical safety requirements and statistics methods in verification, validation and risk control measures.
It is important that you have a structured approach to your work, but at the same time, you are open-minded and see possibilities. You have a clear ability to maintain overview in a sometimes stressed environment and you are a team player with the ability to work independently.
It is natural for you take charge and you are proactive, good at prioritising, planning and finalising your tasks. In addition, you have an interest in and ability to work with details in e.g. statistics.
