We continuously aim to be the best in class, and we are looking for several control engineers for our team in either Brande or Skovlunde.

How to contribute to our vision
The Turbine Control Functionality Development department consists of 15 dedicated engineers where are located in Brande and Skovlunde. We deliver competitive and high-quality control solutions that optimize the annual energy production of our offshore wind turbines without compromising the structural integrity and operational constraints in the sub-systems. We work on the forefront of technology and new product development. We play a decisive part from the initial ideation of new control concepts to the final type certification of the solutions and new products. In order to do so, we develop and maintain our advanced inhouse model-based control development framework and the toolchains that support it.

Our markets and customers are international and so are our teams. Across the Turbine Control Functionality Development department, we employ people of more than 5 different nationalities in an informal Danish working culture. We work closely together with our department handling optimization and validation of our prototypes and thus are a strong daily collaborator. The outcome is to improve the annual production of the turbine to yield additional benefit for the customer, or to reduce the loading to specific components leading to reduced costs. The work will also include documentation, procedure updates, troubleshooting and maintenance of our offshore turbine controller together with your colleagues.

Moreover, you will:

  • Design and develop control functionalities in accordance with our development processes and implementation into our inhouse model-based control development framework
  • Cooperate with other stakeholders such as hardware component owners and software developers.
  • Take part in the development and maintenance of our internal tools, documentation, and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations and root cause analysis of control related failure modes.

  • Has experience with control design applied in industry applications, preferably within the wind industry.
  • Is a good communicator and has excellent English skills.

You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment where two days are not alike. If you have some project management experience, it would be an advantage, but not a requirement.

In return of your commitment we offer you…
