We are currently looking for a skilled Construction Manager to join our logistics team working on the development and planning of our future floating foundations for offshore wind.
About the job
You will be working on managing and planning the assembly process of the next generation floating foundation, where you will be part of the logistics team contributing to all phases from concept development to manufacturing and assembly of full-scale projects.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Aligning technical details with the design team in close corporation with the Chief Specialist
- Planning and managing subcontractor deliveries
- Planning and formalizing construction plans, cost estimates, and reporting & equipment overview
- Presenting and aligning assembly methodologies with clients and contractors
As Construction Manager, you will join the Logistics Team, where you will work closely together with your experienced co-workers. The job is an office position focusing on the planning phase, but some site activities should be expected.
It is preferable that you have 2-5 years of experience from working with planning construction projects, preferably within the wind industry, offshore sector, or other relevant areas. Experience with international construction sites focusing on large steel structures is an advantage.
We expect you to approach your work with enthusiasm and to be self-driven, passionate, committed, and pro-actively solution oriented. It is natural for you to take on responsibility, and you are confident in the role of ensuring quality in large and complex projects. You perform well in the dynamic environment of a start-up organization.
