Deliver innovative electrical solutions and take ownership of component compliance
As the new Component Engineer, you will be part of the global multidisciplinary team developing state-of-the-art systems and accessory devices. The component engineering role is a new function at NKT Photonics, which means you will have an exceptional opportunity to shape the future processes & systems that ensure the company upholds regulatory requirements within their markets and remove friction through the product development stages. Working closely in cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for the electronic development of laser products throughout the entire product lifecycle. Furthermore, in collaboration with the project teams you will select components and be responsible for their documentation across the laser product portfolio and take ownership of the component compliance data. The role is a combination of component and electrical engineering, and you will be operating across all active projects and business segments.
Unfold your potential in leading product development
We expect you to hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or similar. Most importantly, you are experienced with designing and testing in electronics technology as well as component compliance documentation. It is also necessary that you have experience with RoHS, REACH and Conflict Mineral reporting. Furthermore, you are fluent in both written and spoken English.
As a person you possess a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality and reliability. Furthermore, you thrive in a role, where your problem-solving skills can unfold and where collaboration and communication with management and team members are on the agenda every day.
