Communications Student Assistant

We’re looking for a communications student assistant, who loves to write, is eager to learn and who wishes to join a Corporate Communications department in a successful global company – with a strong company purpose and an ambitious sustainability agenda.
The job
Our department plays a key role in ensuring that our 13,000 employees worldwide are continuously reminded about the difference we make in our consumers’ lives as well as understand in which direction we’re going as a company and how we’re performing. Specifically, we do this through a number of communication activities; by telling stories on our intranet, Connect, or on LinkedIn, or through engaging meetings.
Your tasks could include:
- Writing and publishing stories on our corporate intranet, Connect
- Creating and publish content on our corporate LinkedIn profile
- Help us with daily tasks linked to our global meetings, media inquiries and lots of other stuff
Don’t worry, you won’t be going at it alone as you’ll have a great deal of interaction with the whole Corporate Communications team – consisting of five people, who like to work together. We won’t, however, control your every step. So, this position is ideal for a person who likes to be given responsibility from day one, but knows when to ask for help. Here, it’s okay to jump in and speak your mind, ask questions and try out new ideas.
The position is 2-3 days per week, with flexible workhours from both the office and from home, and we offer a fair student salary. We are flexible when it comes to start date, but the sooner you are on board the better.
Qualifications
We expect you to be studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably within communications, journalism or English. You’re eager to do solid communication work – especially writing stories or developing content. But more importantly, you’re eager to learn about the stuff that you don’t know.
Finally, you enjoy interacting with different cultures and being part of an international company. This also means that you speak and write English at a high level. Our corporate language is English.
