Commissioning Engineer - Agro & Protein Engineering

Alfa Laval is a strong and growing organization experiencing increasing demand for the Agro & Protein industry. The Commissioning Engineer will support local and global business by securing successful commissioning for medium to high complexity projects.

About the job

• As a new Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for performing commissioning in a professional manner and to the customers’ satisfaction.
• You will make commissioning and start-up of equipment and processes with the aim of delivering well-functioning equipment or plants at the lowest possible cost at the agreed time, and test installed equipment, make performance test and deliver training.
• You will also help the project managers to ensure that plants and systems delivered to the customers are according to the specifications when shipped from AL, and support project work from the office when possible.
• The position is based in Søborg but you must expect extensive travelling (minimum 150 days yearly).

What you know
You have an engineering degree or equivalent and are fluent in written and spoken English. We expect you to be up to date with new technology and tools, and have experience with separation technologies.

You are calm and able to maintain stable performance under pressure, and can accept criticism without becoming hostile or over-defensive.
You are analytical, proactive and self-starting, have the capacity for sustained effort and hard work over longer time, and you work in a structured way and in accordance with rules and procedures.
