We are looking for a structured Commercial Sales Specialist, with excellent interpersonal skills and a self-starting mentality. You will play a fundamental role in the overall tendering and client development process, taking instruction from the Head of Sales, Commercial Sales Manager and Technical Sales Manager.
Development and review of tenders and other client enquiries; identify, coordinate and manage deliverables
- Develop internal pricing and risk calculations, including optimization of tooling for such purposes.
- Facilitate legal review and propose judgment on an acceptable commercial risk-reward balance and SBO negotiation position.
- Interaction with subcontractors, including selection, follow-up, and negotiation.
- Once performance has been proven, direct contact with clients during negotiation and project execution phase, including some travelling and conference visits.
- Draft product development business cases for Management review.
- Analysis and input into SBO strategy and board papers.
The position is Copenhagen-based and is a tremendous opportunity for a professional interested in furthering a commercial career with a growing and leading offshore wind marine installation contractor, backed by a stable parent company. The candidate must enjoy working in an informal, but fast-paced and dynamic environment, and be willing to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and priorities.
The successful candidate will be structured, with an ability to independently organize their own workload within set deadlines, and hold a very attentive eye for detail. Minimum B.Sc. , and at least three years professional experience in offshore wind or other relevant industry such as oil & gas, marine contracting or offshore service vessels is preferred, ideally including experience with tender processes, negotiations or contract management. The candidate must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the offshore wind sector, with specific market knowledge of the jack-up installation or wind farm construction being a significant advantage. Proficiency in languages other than English and Danish and relevant for the offshore wind industry is also of benefit. The candidate must also have competency in standard IT packages, preferably also from risk and/or pricing software.
