If so, join us as our new intern in the CMC (Chemistry Manufacturing & Control) department in Novo Nordisk and embrace the opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues. Apply now!

About the department
You will be a part of CMC (Chemistry Manufacturing & Control) which is the organisation that ties research and manufacturing together.

The position is anchored in the department CMC Digitalisation, whose key mission is to execute strategic initiatives across CMC Development in the areas of Digital innovation & Training, Data Engineering, Demand & Supply, Business Intelligence, IT Security, and IT Strategy in partnership with line of business. 30 colleagues with various backgrounds and areas of expertise make up the diverse and international team you will join. We speak English at work every day.

The Position
You will take part in the identification of relevant technologies and their applicability to the organisation, and together with your colleagues be responsible for the development and implementation of scalable and effective solutions. To give you an idea of our project landscape, current solutions include mobile applications (both native iOS and in Microsoft Power Apps), augmented reality instructions using the HoloLens 2 and Microsoft Guides, as well as ongoing work on a VR training platform.

Of particular note is the opportunity to work on one or more projects solving a real-world problem, from the initial stages all the way to delivery of a working prototype, going through problem identification, design, development iterations, and testing. You will be able to have a personal impact on a key strategic area, and you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with a broad stakeholder landscape. Our end-user groups consist of Operators, Supporters, Laboratory Technicians, Professionals, and their Managers, and all solutions aim at providing optimal support for their competence development and performance.

Practicalities:

  • Internship period: The internship position is a full-time position for 6 months
  • Start date: February 2023
  • Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows
  • Full-Time Danish work permit is required

On a day-to-day basis, you will be tasked with identifying the cause of a problem, coming up with a suitable digital solution, and then implementing the solution together with the team. We employ a broad range of technologies and software, so you will have the opportunity to shine no matter what your specialisation is, while also having the chance to try out and learn new things. You will at times be working independently (doing presentations, visiting stakeholders, etc.) – being comfortable with talking in public and dealing with new people all the time is important.

Qualifications
You are currently studying for a Master’s degree in IT, Human Computer Interaction, Learning & Development, Engineering, or other relevant areas.

  • Strong grasp of UXD, Interaction Design, and/or Design Thinking
  • Solid problem-solving skills, together with a user-centred approach to solutions
  • Interest in digital training and optimisation solutions (via digital tools, mobile apps, e-learning, Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality, etc.)
  • Communication and presentation skills (verbally and in writing)
  • Fluency in spoken and written English. Danish is not required but can be helpful in some cases.

Programming knowledge, 3D modeling, and UI design knowledge are a plus, but not required
