Do you have experience within climate facilities or warehousing, and ensuring that lab equipment is in compliance? If so, this could be the position for you!

We are looking for a professional based in Bagsværd, Denmark, who can lead the operation of our climate facilities and the process to secure fully compliant lab equipment across the entire department.

About the Department
Our department, Site Support and Improvements, is part of Manufacturing Development which again is a part of the Diabetes Finished Products (DFP) organisation. In Manufacturing Development, we have the expert knowledge of our products and the processes which is needed to support our production sites. We have laboratory facilities for support and innovation purposes and GMP climate facilities where we, e.g. store reference samples from production sites. Our goal is to provide diabetes treatment to all patients in the world.

You will be working in a team of 13 professionals which includes Technicians and Scientists. Whilst working independently in this position, you will have support of highly skilled colleagues within equipment and climate facilities across the entire department, and will be given the scope to advance your skills and knowledge.

The position
In this position we are looking for a professional who, preferrable has experience within climate facilities or warehousing. You will be responsible of operating and maintaining the climate facilities within a GMP environment. This will include:

  • Maintenance and Service i.e. handle contractors.
  • Re-validation of climate facilities.
  • Participate in project expanding climate facilities.
  • Frequently review of data.
  • Present climate facilities in audit and inspection situations.
  • CR (change request) & DV (deviation) handling

Alongside this, you will be the equipment responsible ensuring the compliance of equipment within the department, this will include secure uniform documentation level of GMP- and non-GMP equipment in the department, elaborate and maintain the equipment list and life-cycle management. You will be working cross functionally building relations with stakeholders at all levels, so to flourish in this position it is key you have excellent communication skills. Furthermore, you will be in close dialogue with equipment owners and QA, discussing purchase, installation, test, maintenance, and calibration plans etc. You will use your expertise to provide support/ training to equipment owners.

If you have limited experience with climate facilities we will support your development through on-the-job training and other relevant training.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher academic education background within engineering, science, pharmacy or similar.
  • You have experience working within a GMP environment.
  • Preferrable, you have experience working with climate facilities or warehousing.
  • Experience with ensuring compliance of equipment.
  • Excellent communications with experience of working closely with stakeholders.
  • You are fluent in spoken and written English and Danish.

In this position, you will be the “go to” person so we are looking for a professional who works well independently, service minded and willing to go the extra mile to provide support. You are by nature eager to learn and are pragmatic, structured in your way of thinking, have good organisation skills and an eye for detail when it comes to compliance. You are able to use your communication skills to build relations cross functionally.
