At the Danish Technological Institute, we are busy developing new technologies and supporting our clients in the Oil and Gas industry worldwide. Therefore, we are seeking talented and dedicated colleagues who are passionate about applying and disseminating high-end solutions to the challenges of the oil and gas industry, helping supply energy for the world safely and efficiently.

Challenging projects and solutions
In DTI Oil & Gas, we support our clients, which are typically oilfield operators, with a range of innovative, technical services aimed at improving recovery and minimising cost, risk, and environmental impact from productions.

We are a team of highly skilled project managers, consultants, and specialists with backgrounds within physics, chemistry, microbiology, and engineering.

The areas we address include:

  • Tracer solutions, improving understanding of flow in reservoirs and forming basis for decision about production optimisation.
  • Technology to optimise oil recovery, e.g. through plugging of fractures in reservoirs and improvement of water sweep
  • Solutions for monitoring and mitigation of microbiologically induced corrosion, minimising risk of failures, and lost production
  • Sensor technology for online monitoring

Further, we engage closely with our clients in contract R&D activities, providing new solutions to the industry.

You can expect some travel activity in connection to meetings, conferences, and field work on- and offshore.

Two new colleagues skilled in Chemistry and with a commercial drive
We are currently very busy fulfilling the demand for our services, and are looking for new colleagues in the following roles:

Senior consultant / Project manager
Responsibility for driving client projects, maintaining and expanding our client and project portfolio through sales and marketing activities. Further, you take part in the continuous development of our service offering with the aim of growing our business further. Your tasks are varied and you will have the opportunity to shape activities and initiatives within the area.

Consultant
You will work as consultant involved in day-to-day support of our clients. This includes design of experiments, lab work, and reporting. You will also be engaged in field work on the clients’ premises. You take part in maintaining and developing our client relations through delivery of high quality service and results.

To succeed in either position, you have a master degree and potentially a Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, nanotechnology, or chemical engineering. Experience with oil and gas industry is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.

You possess solid competencies and a broad understanding of chemistry and physics, and may have experience with sensors, high-pressure equipment, analytical techniques and materials. Most importantly, you are eager to apply your skills on challenging technical projects and work closely with our clients.

For the project manager position, you have some years of experience with technical project sales and delivery, client development, or R&D project application and execution.

As a person, you are open and interested in putting your competencies in play, interact and cooperate externally with our clients, ensuring we deliver as promised and spot new opportunities.

DTI Oil & Gas
You will become part of DTI Oil & Gas, where a cross-disciplinary team of skilled colleagues deliver innovative services and contract innovation to the oil and gas industry internationally. We are rooted in strong competencies within chemistry, physics, and microbiology and utilise our competencies to improve efficiency and safety and minimize environmental impact from productions. The centre is a part of the Life Science division, counting around 80 employees working broadly within environment, chemistry, and biology.
