What are you going to do?
As our new Casting specialist, you will manage quality specification for critical components. Your focus will be to:
- Be responsible for first-time production approval of vendors for key cast components
- Drive digitalization of quality control of castings forward
- Continuously develop castings processes
- Define quality specifications based on design needs
- Numerical simulation of casting processes
Our engines and solutions are produced in Japan, South Korea and China, and travel to these countries will be expected about two times per year.
You will be in close contact with vendors around the globe and you will perform audits on site in Asia or from our head office in close cooperation with our local staff in China and Korea.
Who are you?
We imagine that you have experience in cast iron foundry process control. Experience with digital solutions for monitoring of would be valuable. Knowledge of simulation tools like MAGMAsoft would be a plus.
We envision that you have an education background like materials engineer, mechanical engineer or similar. As a person, you have a strong drive while at the same time being empathic.
How is your new team/area of business?
You will work in an exciting international company that offers good development opportunities with a high degree of freedom.
You will be part of the Production Quality team, where the main responsibility is quality assurance of production of engine components and supplier development. We are a small team with individual competences in different areas. You and another specialist will focus on castings. There is a relaxed and open atmosphere in the team.
