About the department
Business Intelligence Solutions (BI Solutions) team is a part of Global IT and consists of employees in Denmark and India. We provide Business Intelligence solutions globally using SAP BW, BusinessObjects, Qlik Sense, Tableau, Alteryx and Power BI.
Our solutions enable critical corporate processes across multiple functional areas: Financial Reporting, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing etc.
The position
You will support the adoption of new Business Intelligence and Data Analysis tools like Qlik Sense, Tableau, Alteryx and Power BI. You will work independently on tasks that will require you to collaborate with our team in India and IT consultants from Denmark. You will also be the bridge between our IT Solution and users in Novo Nordisk worldwide.
You will typically promote our BI tools, actively promote and maintain the SharePoint portal for the department and assist in training-related activities.
Moreover, you will assist users in creating new dashboards, new Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's), coordinate with our technical experts in India to ensure users adopt the new technologies. You will help our users in becoming more creative and see the possibilities the new tools give the users by exploring the tools with users own data. Depending on the need you may join different training sessions.
Lastly, you will also be required to work on ad-hoc tasks. This will require you to be proactive and curious.
- Working hours: full-time (18-37 hours a week)
- Internship period: 6 months
- The internship are remunerated if your educational track allows
- Start date: Jan/Feb 2021
- A Danish full-time work permit is required
Qualifications
You are studying for a master’s degree in Information Technology/Systems, Digital Innovation & Management, Communication (with IT involvement) or similar. Below are the qualifications and skills the ideal candidate should have:
- An international mind-set
- Excellent English skill is a must, both oral and written
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain and present complex technical solutions to non-IT colleagues and senior stakeholders
- Some knowledge/experience of front-end development/scripting will be preferred but is not necessary
You are organized, detailed and yet creative with a curious mindset that enables you to look at existing implementations with fresh eyes and ideas. This could be on our training activities, our internal processes and our new Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau and Alteryx.
