Do you have the drive and abilities to make a strong positive impact at FOSS? We are looking for a Business Development Project Manager to join our ambitious Business Development team. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for your segment as well as the next generation of innovative FOSS solutions sold worldwide.

About the position
As Business Development Project Manager, you will be part of the global Business Development team responsible for developing FOSS’ strategy and market offerings within a specific segment. The work includes developing the next strategy, strategic projects for Group Management, new product development and product lifecycle management.

We work in close collaboration with customers, R&D, Global Marketing and Group Management. Your job will be to bring together multiple people and perspectives to drive the direction of your segment.

The primary location will be at the FOSS Innovation Centre in Hillerød, but the job requires app. 25 days a year of travelling with the majority allocated to customer visits.

Primary tasks
You will be responsible for one of FOSS’ core segments where you will be the key driver of the segment’s strategy, new product development and project creator for front-end innovation projects. As Business Development Project Manager, you will be chairing a cross-functional Industry Strategy Team with participants from Global Marketing, R&D and Customer & Sales Support. Business Development also works as an internal management consulting unit providing Group Management with analytical support.

Qualifications

  • You have a Master’s degree within Economics, Business or Engineering with a business perspective or similar.
  • You have 2-3 years of experience from a business development role in an international company, management consulting, corporate finance or similar.
  • Experience within the food and agricultural industry or the analytical industry will be an advantage.
  • Experience within process solutions, after sales and digital business will also be considered a plus.
  • In order to link market strategies with commercial solutions, you should have strong commercial understanding and interest in innovation & technology.

We expect you to have an excellent analytical toolbox and communication skills.

Business Development has a strong career development track-record with several team members having moved on to senior positions in FOSS e.g. VP for Customer & Sales Support, Head of Market Management and General Manager for one of FOSS’ Sales & Service Subsidiaries.

In Business Development, we have a concept called “Extended Business Trip” where you get to work abroad on a strategic project for 3 months to support a General Manager or a regional VP. This is a great opportunity for professional and personal development by getting closer to customers while strengthening your understanding of the daily challenges for a Sales & Service Subsidiary.
