Learning new things is guaranteed with this job and SYMBION is a great place for expanding your network both professionally and personally. This job is an unpaid internship for at least 8 weeks - if you want a fully salaried job this may also be available (in another listing), but only for a very experienced developer.

Apply if you are good at

  • Structured embedded C design, implementation, test, and documentation
  • Low power and wireless systems
  • Algorithm development and cycle efficient implementation
  • Depending on your skills and interests, you may also do PC application development, app development, and/or server-side development.

Language:

  • Excellent English or a decent Danish is required.

We are looking for someone who

  • Trains on a bike and understands why power meters are cool
  • Is structured and detail-oriented
  • Has a positive attitude
  • Is dependable and gets things done
  • Self-motivated and ambitious

It would be a plus if you have experience with ARM processors, Microchip processors, ANT+ or Bluetooth Low Energy protocols, CAN bus, Nordic Semiconductor nRF51/52 frameworks, Jenkins build server, Git, and a good sense of electronics at the schematic level.

Some practical information:

  • The office is in the SYMBION office park on Østerbro
  • Facilities as per the icons below
  • As a small startup, we can be very flexible on most parameters as long as we keep focus on creating real results

Internship

Your internship is for at least 8 weeks. We expect you to work at the office near full-time and will treat you as any other employee. We really want to make sure you get something out of this. We are flexible in finding a solution that works for you.

Following an internship, we have previously had great success turning this into a salaried position. This would be an ideal scenario and we are only looking for interns, who would be interested in a longer-term position although we can't guarantee anything at this point (tough realities of a startup, sorry). Either way, we always want our interns to get one step closer to getting that "real" job, and judging by the stats we have been good at it so far.
