Backend development

Book2wheel.com, a fast growing, Dynamic start-up is seeking to recruit more programmers to become a part of our international team. The internship will take place in its headquarters in the city center of Odense, Denmark, for a period of 3-6 months. Starting date will be as soon as possible. Join our young, friendly team and gain experience as a developer, as well as working in a team of various professions (e.g. graphic designers, marketing specialists etc).
The intern will have programming tasks and will take part in the website development. He/She will be involved in various ongoing projects and will contribute to the building and construction of the website.

Stack of technologies we use:

• Vue.js (Vuex, Vue-Router)
• PHP (Laravel)
• CSS Frameworks (Bootstrap 4.3)
• Server-side rendering
• Relational database (mysql)
• You can choose what do you want to work with; Either backend of frontend.

Responsibilities:

• Building web-pages following a given design.
• Developing the backend system.
• Managing daily based development of the website.
• Connecting the backend and frontend parts.
• Participating in team meetings.
• Bringing in new ideas- we are open to hear new perspectives!

Requirements:

• IT-related education / background
• At least basic knowledge about one of the JavaScript frameworks (preferably Vue.js)
• Ability to work with a PHP framework (preferably Laravel)
• Work with git (github)
• Ability to work independently as well as in team
• Knowledge of English (B1 or higher)
• Able to work in our office in Denmark, Odense

For Active students only, who are not on A kasse.

EU residency is required.
