We contribute to developing industries within the process and energy industry with an increasing focus on the growing demand for green energy and sustainable solutions. The area of responsibility for this position is mainly energy transition projects such as recycling plants, PtX plants, offshore energy, solar and power generation.

To succeed in this role, you need to have experience with managing teams as a leader or a project manager, including working across cultures and countries. Furthermore, you must have an excellent technical background combined with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Ramboll’s geographies. You will join our Automation and Communication engineering department
As our new Team Lead, you are part of an exceptional technical environment with 27 passionate colleagues in Denmark supported by our global engineering centre. The department is highly experienced and delivers engineering and consultancy services globally within the energy sector for projects around the world. The primary focus of our services is instrumentation, automation, telecom, network and cyber security/OT security. We cover all aspects of a project including concept and feasibility studies, detailed engineering, EPC and follow-on engineering.

The Automation and Communication department consists of three teams collaborating closely together. As our new Team Lead, you will be leading and further developing a team with a total of 10 employees.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and build relationships with new and existing clients and conduct sales meetings

  • Develop the services of the department further to meet current and future market and client demands including more international projects

  • Develop employees through our Performance and Development Process

  • Project manager for own projects

  • Lead for multidisciplinary projects

  • Ensure quality in project deliverables

  • Operational management of department on a day-to-day basis to ensure optimal utilization of resources and execution of projects

  • Support strategy and business plan processes

  • A Bachelor or Master within Instrument/Automation Engineering

  • Several years of documented experience in instrument/automation design within PtX, power generation, offshore wind or similar industries, i.e. a solid technical background

  • Few years of experience with people management alternatively significant project management experience with people management duties

  • Leadership skills in terms of identifying and developing talent, setting the direction for teams and managing performance

  • Commercial understanding

  • Proven track record on delivering results on time, with high quality and within budget

  • International experience is an advantage
