The job
PTC Membrane Filtration are looking for a dedicated Automation Manager. With reference to Head of Process & Product Engineering, Membrane Filtration you will be responsible for execution of the Automaton Software to Filtration Units as well as Automation support to ongoing projects and installed base.

The position is a job that requires that you are both systematic and able to maneuver and perform even with a lot of different tasks. You will get a lot of challenges both professionally and personally.  

You will be a part of a small team where you will be responsible for our standard software program and contribute with your knowledge, to the continuous improvement of the program.

Travel activity in the area of 20-30 days a year is to be expected.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Configuration, programming and testing of PLC and HMI application programs using Siemens TIA Portal
  • Online support to customers and commissioning engineers
  • FAT on new units prior to shipment
  • Specification and purchase of PLC & MCC Panels
  • Setup Network connections.
  • Inhouse support to Sales and Project managers.
  • Experience with Rockwell PLC systems is an advantage.
  • Preparation of the required documentation

Your profile

  • At least 2-4 years of relevant experience (Automation Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Marine Engineer or similar)
  • Experience with Siemens TIA Portal
  • You master English at business level
  • Sense of details, without losing track of things in pressed situations
  • Hands on experience with electrical components/installation.

You are outgoing, structured and capable of working independently, though at the same time ready to be a part of an international team with a strong team oriented culture.  You master the “game” of cooperation across cultures, educational degree as well as understand the Supplier-Customer relationship. You are a team player, not afraid to take responsibility and go the extra mile when required.
