About the team and the department
The automation team consists of 15 committed employees and is part of the Business Support department with a total of 115 employees. The automation team operate, maintain and optimize the IT/OT systems in Insulin Manufactoring-1 (IM1) to meet both production needs and compliance requirements.

The job
As Automation Engineer you will work with PLC/SCADA or PCS systems (Sattline) and the associated equipment and interfaces.

In close collaboration with skilled colleagues you will ensure compliance with the requirements, optimal function and maintenance of the systems. You will drive your own small automation projects as well as being project participant in major cross-functional projects, where you will act as technical subject matter expert.  In addition to this, support and problem solving will be an important part of your daily work.

Qualifications

  • An academic degree within engineering or similar
  • Hands-on experience working with automation systems
  • Experience with PLC and SCADA systems (Siemens PLC and IFIX-SCADA) or PSC systems (preferred ABB Sattline)
  • Experience from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or manufacturing industry, including the associated documentation and compliance requirements, will be an advantage.
