Responsibilities / Tasks
Do you know process automation, and are you ready to develop your expertise as you optimise processing environments around the world?

As an automation execution engineer/manager, you tackle a wide range of technical challenges for our customers in the global food, dairy and chemical industries, and you drive automation and digital solutions all the way from specification to design and the full lifecycle. As part of a global service organisation in a growing industry, you will have a wealth of opportunities for professional development and share knowledge with more than 17,000 colleagues around the world.

Drive automation within service, upgrades, optimisation and maintenance 
At our Nordic location north of Copenhagen, you will join the Service Product Management team for automation and data management, and you will work with local colleagues as well as Automation colleagues in Singapore and Madrid. Together, you provide our customers in the global food industry with a service product portfolio of complex automation solutions and lifecycle service.

Executing projects and services in collaboration with colleagues, consultants and vendors, you drive the process from A to Z – defining the scope, estimating time and costs and planning the resources. Moreover, you will also collaborate with colleagues across product development and sales as you help develop new automation and digital service products maybe based on data collection and data analysis.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Specifically, you:

  • Drive automation upgrades, process optimisation solutions, safety management solutions and maintenance & lifecycle management solutions
  • Provide automation quotations and project management from sale, specification, design, manufacturing, FAT, installation commissioning and lifecycle management
  • Conduct training for collaborators in local GEA companies

As you work in global organisation and with customers around the world, you can expect up to 45 days of travel per year.

You know automation and electrical design
You know your way around an automation and digital environment and have hands-on experience with automation. However, your level of experience is not a deciding factor for us – we are open to highly experienced colleagues as well as recent graduates as we are happy to tailor your role to your particular profile. You take a keen interest in automation, safety and optimisation within the process industry and have a talent for teamwork and customer service.

  • You are a qualified engineer, machine specialist, electrician, installation contractor or similar with experience working in an industrial engineering or manufacturing environment
  • You have experience working with automation software development (PLC , Scada, MES ) in either Siemens or Rockwell, and you know IT Infrastructure and topology
  • You have knowledge of instrumentation (sensors, actuators etc.) and electrical engineering, cabinets manufacturing and electrical supervision
  • You are familiar with one or more of the following topics: ATEX, GAMP, IEC 60204 IEC 60508, Mathlab programming, MPC or data analytics
  • You speak and write English fluently - Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement
