Joining our Audio Test Department, you will become part of a team of seven people who makes sure that the Jabra products always have that perfect ring to it. Many of your colleagues are experienced, and you will get to learn and grow with their help.
Your new department is split into two teams, testing the Jabra sound. One team is responsible for developing the tests, while the other takes the lead in conducting the tests – you will be part of the latter, validating our top-tier audio devices.

What will you be doing?
Maybe you’ve just read a bunch of adds requiring you to oversee a lot of simultaneous tasks that you should drive forward? This job is different. You need patience, and we know it. When you conduct a test, it requires you to wait and supervise the full length of the scheduled process, as you will need to react quickly if the test doesn’t go as planned.
As one product might need 30 tests done over multiple days in different testing labs, you should be able to coordinate and plan accordingly. You will also be responsible for setting up the right equipment and ensuring that the right product configurations are tested, always with thorough and professional consideration.
Additionally, you will be:
- Maintaining and calibrating our testing equipment
- Delivering test reports
- Suggesting new methodologies and test improvements
- Assisting development engineers in complex assignments
Sound good so far? Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:
Things don’t always go as planned. In your new job, you will find yourself in scenarios where you have to face unforeseen testing issues, or your lab needs to be used for something more urgent. You need to be adaptable and able to make flexible plans in order to succeed.
Some of your tasks are done in cooperation with other technicians or development engineers. Sometimes they may need help, and your teamworking skills should not just be about the ability to support your colleagues but also about balancing what tasks are most important – even when it means prioritizing your own.
Fluent written and spoken English skills
As an international organization with colleagues in over 50 different countries, our official company language is English. It’s essential that you can communicate effortlessly with your colleagues, no matter where they are.
A technician or engineering background
You might have some experience working with audio technology, working as a technician or with testing in general, or you might be a newly educated engineer. Either way, being interested in audio is a plus – even if it is from something as simple as playing the guitar or hooking up cables in a studio. Your audio curiosity matters.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Whether it is Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, you will need basic IT skills conducting the tests and collaborating with the test developers.
