We offer a career in one of the world’s largest suppliers of process technology. In our business unit Coffee & Freeze Drying in GEA we are looking for an Area Sales Manager for our Customer Lifecycle Support team.  CLS and drying are designated strategic and fast-growing business areas, where you will be supporting our customers with detailed knowledge on how to improve the performance of the coffee and freeze drying installations in production of tomorrow’s food and beverages assortment - from instant coffee to freeze-dried strawberries.

You will be part of a dynamic team of 3 Area Sales Managers and a Technical Spare Parts Engineer, reporting to a team leader. Your profile and qualifications:
As Area Sales Manager within the Customer Lifecycle team you will be responsible for driving all CLS sales activities in a defined region in collaboration with local GEA offices and partners. This implies preparing detailed quotations for customers and local offices spanning the entire portfolio of GEA Coffee & Freeze Drying technologies.

Finding the right drying solution for a customer involves process and plant specification, product test work, cost and sales price setting, preparation of quotations as well as final contract negotiations with customers.

Your responsibility is to be the link between our customers, our technical department and project department.

  • You will provide technical day-to-day support and investigate the customers' need for replacement, upgrade, modernization, revamping or maybe an audit.
  • You will work closely with customers and drive GEA’s relationship and customer focus. We will ensure that you are supported by an experienced team of internal experts in technology centres, application development and project execution.
  • You are involved in several activities to strengthen our long-term business growth and market position. This involves exploration of new business opportunities as well as implementation of strategic initiatives as set up by the management.
