Are you our new Production Engineer, Quality?
BK Medical is growing rapidly and is expanding our production capacity in Herlev. Therefore, we are looking for a skilled Production Engineer, Quality who will be involved in supporting the production of electronic ultrasound scanners.
You will be part of the PE department, which is part of the production department, and your workplace will be at the head office for ultrasound in Herlev. You will refer to the Head of Production Engineering in Denmark.
The job:

Lead collection and analysis of quality and process data from the shop floor to highlight improvement opportunities (lead time, cycle time, standard combination charts, yield etc.)

Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with Lean department (assist and/or lead A3 projects, kaizen events etc.)

In collaboration with our quality department and our internal repair team, lead resolution of non-conformities and mitigation plan

Coordinate – together with Quality - improvement actions related to incoming inspection procedures and in-process quality

Coordinate – together with EHS – improvement actions related to ergonomics and safety
Your professional background could be:
-
Master degree on technical areas (Engineering) with exposure to EHS and Lean or graduate student approaching graduation

Experience in a similar position in an international company, preferably within medical devices is a plus

Exposure to lean manufacturing concepts and participation in kaizen events is a plus
About you:

You are a fresh graduate out of Engineering University or close to your graduation and you are ready to jump on a hands-on job with opportunity to show your analytical and leadership skillset

You are a team player with ambitions to lead small groups on specific projects

You have an analytical mindset and are familiar with common tools for improvement projects (pareto, A3 template, fishbone etc.)

Comfortable with working with several parallel tasks

Danish language skills are required.

Must be able to communicate fluently in English

Must be able to work independently
