We are looking for an infrastructure specialist/ developer to ensure a stable and mature API Management Platform. This is an opportunity for you to take a meaningful role in carrying various areas of responsibility and task within API Management. The platform and team resides in common IT but is serving several business areas - our own infrastructure developers within Nordea as well as external customers.

The offer
You’ll join Automation Technology, API Management team where we support the overall strategy with IT solutions matching the business needs. If you are interested in developing yourself within our domain, we can offer you mentoring and support by our experts and for the right candidates we are willing to invest in getting the right skillset in place.

The primary tasks are to ensure a resilient and stable platform. Our API Management Platform are built with tools like IBM API Connect, IBM Websphere Datapower and GraphQL.

What you’ll be doing:

  • System maintenance and upgrades
  • Configuration, deployments- and customization tasks
  • Continuous system improvements
  • Being platform Subject Matter Expert that are involved within various Projects
  • Business- and Infrastructure developers support and guidance
  • Development of Restfull and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Additionally you will be acting as 2nd and 3rd level support on API Management Infrastructure

The role is based in Copenhagen. We are currently recruiting to formulate the new team which preferably will be consisting of up to six employees. You will become part of a larger automation organisation with an overall purpose to automate internal processes and deliver IT service capabilities for business.

It is expected that you have a background as software developer and/or within infrastructure engineering and you are motivated to develop even further. You thrive to work in a dynamic environment which demands changes based on business needs across the organization.

Furthermore, you have knowledge about general security concepts related to API’s and its infrastructure. You can perform advanced troubleshooting, analysis of architecture and security issues. Knowledge about development and handling of API’s will be an advantage as well as. You communicate well both orally and in written in English.

It’s not a requirement, but some good skills to have are:

  • Programming skills: Java EE, Springboot, Microservices, Some scripting language, DB scripting
  • Knowledge about IBM API Connect or similar tool
  • Knowledge about IBM Websphere Datapower or similar gateway services
  • Knowledge about GraphQL concept
