Would you like to work with cutting-edge antenna technology and help us push the limits of how small and advanced hearing aids can be?

As an antenna engineer in GN Hearing, you will work with competent and ambitious colleagues and join a world leader within wireless technology.

Join us to make life sound better
GN Resound is part of GN Hearing where we are known for great sound quality, design and technology. We were the first company to offer 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity in hearing aids, providing ground-breaking sound experiences for people with hearing challenges. And in our R&D department, we have developed the technology ever since. At our HQ in Ballerup, you will join the Radio Systems team, which is part of Hardware Platforms, where we design and implement Bluetooth antennas and radio systems into our world-class hearing aids.

Help develop electrically small antennas for hearing aids
Along with mechanical, electronical and electroacoustic engineers, you will participate in product development projects, optimising our hearing aids, so they continue to get smarter, smaller and more discrete. You will participate in 2-3 development projects at a time, and each project lasts around 1-2 years where you are involved throughout the process from initial concept development to verifying the finished product.

In more detail, you will:

  • Create 3D designs and EM simulations of new hearing aids and implemented antennas
  • Test prototypes in our radio anechoic chamber and give input to prototype optimisations
  • Verify the finished hearing aid and forward it to type approvals
  • Collaborate with patent engineers to file patents on approved products
  • Participate in technology projects within your team, continuously developing our antenna technology

Aside from your project groups and your own team located in Ballerup, you also collaborate closely with Software and with our mechanical and acoustic engineers located in our departments in Chicago, USA, and Xiamen, China.

We challenge ourselves to do more
You will join a close-knit team of 7 dedicated specialists that always help each other and like to push the limits of what is possible for electrically small antennas. The antenna technologies we invent help our end users rediscover the power of sound every day - and that is what drives our motivation.

Electrical engineer with a creative mind
You have a rare drive, and your creative capacity and optimistic mindset will take you far when it comes to inventing new antennas and spotting unexplored opportunities. As you will have to collaborate with many different colleagues, it is a plus if you are a good communicator that values good teamwork.

Moreover:

  • You are an electrical engineer with experience in designing antennas for wireless communication and working with EM simulation tools.
  • You speak and write English fluently.
