We develop hearing aids and accessory products, which include wireless communication in the 2.4 GHz range. We are looking for a skilled engineer who feels passionate about development of small, efficient radio solutions that deliver the required performance in spite of the compact physical conditions in a hearing aid.
Participating from start to finish
You will be involved in the development of hearing aids from idea to product. You will be an important player during concept development and when initiating new projects. Your experience is vital when discussing and choosing antenna types and technologies, and your job includes necessary feasibility studies on new ideas.
As an antenna designer it is also your job to specify requirements, choose the right components and develop the final solution for the hearing aid as a part of the project team. Practical tasks like measurements and troubleshooting are therefore a natural part of your work.
We work in a matrix organization
In the development projects, you will be a part of interdisciplinary project teams including developers of electronics, mechanics, electro-acoustics and embedded SW. The project team is expected to cover all aspects of the hearing aid development, so you participate both as a specialist in your field and as a generalist, when complex problems need solving.
Technically, you will be part of the RF team, consisting of skilled and passionate colleagues within the field of RF. The competences include development of analog radios, antennas and electrical hardware as well as compliance and performance testing.
Antenna and RF developer with drive
We expect you to have a degree in engineering, and to have a wide experience in development of antennas and associated RF circuits. You have practical experience in several of the following areas:
- Various antenna solutions (preferably for body area networks)
- Simulation and practical realization of antennas
- Measurement of antenna and radio performance
- Electrical hardware design in relation to RF
As a person, you understand the need for trade-offs between electronics and mechanics. You have an innovative mindset and a good drive, and like to show results. You enjoy working independently when required, can stay organized and can make a decision.
You will be successful in this job, if you are collaborative and work analytically and systematically. You take responsibility and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. You are persistent with getting your projects completed - without compromising on quality.
